The Board meeting of the South Carolina Commission for Minority Affairs will be held on Monday May 19, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. at the Commission’s office located at 6904 North Main Street, Suite 107, Columbia, South Carolina.  If you need additional information, please contact the Commission at (803)333-9621, ext. 10.


The South Carolina Commission for Minority Affairs is a state agency responsible for identifying ways to alleviate poverty and deprivation among minority populations in the State.  The scope of the Commission’s authority includes work with the growing Hispanic/Latino populations, Native Americans, Asians and other ethnic populations in the State.  The African American population continues to be the largest minority population addressed by the work of the Commission.
