This week’s new video on the SC Confederate Relic Room and Military Museum’s YouTube Channel features Chief Curator Sarah Wooton talking about a Vietnam War-era POW bracelet and its connection to Admiral James B. Stockdale. He spent over seven years in a prisoner of war camp.
The museum’s site video can be accessed by visiting www.crr.sc.gov/videos or http://www.youtube.com/SCCRRMM. After creating a free YouTube account visitors choose to subscribe to the channel by clicking the “Subscribe” button in the top right hand corner of the page. New videos will be added regularly.
Founded in 1896, the SC Confederate Relic Room and Military Museum is the oldest museum in the Columbia area. The museum focuses on South Carolina’s military history from the Revolutionary War to the present War on Terror.
