Press Release:

Columbia, SC……..The South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs (SCDCA) will present "CREDIT COUNSELING:  AFTER HOURS" - a seminar designed to enlighten consumers on credit counseling, debt managers, debt settlers, and credit repair businesses.  The session will be held on Tuesday, June 20th at 5:45 PM on the first floor of the South Carolina Department of Consumer Affairs located at 3600 Forest Drive in Columbia.

Carri Grube, Staff Attorney for Consumer Credit Counseling at the SCDCA says, "Americans today are inundated with offers to eliminate debt.  With a growing number of consumers in debt, these offers are extremely tempting.  Consumers need to gain knowledge of these industries so they can tell truth from fiction and make informed decisions on how to deal with their indebtedness." The public is invited to come and learn what credit counselors can and cannot do for you and what your rights are.
