COLUMBIA – The swimming advisories issued on August 3rd for a beach section in Surfside Beach have ended, the S.C. Department of Health and Environmental Control announced today.
“Test results from samples were within acceptable limits,” said Sean Torrens of DHEC’s Region 6 Environmental Quality Control office. “We’ll continue to sample ocean water at least once a week until the middle of October.”
