KINGSTREE, SC – The Twelfth Running Of The King’s Tree Trials will be held on Saturday, November 3, 2007 at McCutchen Training Center, Cedar Swamp community near Kingstree, South Carolina. Front row is $50, rows B and C are $40, and all other rows are $30. The individual entry fee is $10 per person

 

Imagine yourself on a crisp November day dressed in your finest outdoor attire catching up with friends around scrumptious tailgate party in the pristine countryside of Cedar Swamp community. For eleven years, Williamsburg County residents have done just that at the well-appointed McCutcheon Training Center, and this year is sure to be the best yet as area horse race fans attend the annual Running of the King’s Tree Trials.

 

The event, sponsored by the Williamsburg HomeTown Chamber in cooperation with the McCutcheons, brings jockeys and their horses from all across the southeast to the track that has become the "Cup" or "Steeplechase" of Williamsburg County.

 

Parking/tailgating spaces are available on a first come, first served basis and may be purchased at the Williamsburg HomeTown Chamber office just off of Main Street beside the railroad track in downtown Kingstree.
