The South Carolina Department of Agriculture will host "What’s Cookin’ in South Carolina” in the Moore Building at the SC State Fair, October 10 through 21, 2007.

What’s Cookin’ at the State Fair
COLUMBIA, SC – The South Carolina Department of Agriculture will host "What’s Cookin’ in South Carolina” in the Moore Building at the SC State Fair, October 10 through 21, 2007. The cooking demonstrations will feature some of South Carolina’s finest professional chefs as well as some notable South Carolina cooks.

The What’s Cookin' schedule of chefs and cooks includes:

Wednesday, October 10
5 p.m.              Blanche Weathers. wife of Commissioner Hugh Weathers

Thursday, October 11
11 a.m.            Jules Pernell, Culinary Professor at USC in Columbia
3 p.m.             Chef John Lentz of Tronco’s in Columbia
5 p.m.             Chef Ryan Jarahian of The Sweetery in Anderson
7 p.m.             Chefs Pam Hubbell & Susie Sheffield of El Burrito’s in Five Points in Columbia

Friday, October 12
