SC Equine Exposition 2008

PELZER, SC – The South Carolina Horsemen’s Council is hosting an Equine Exposition in conjunction with its Annual Meeting on Saturday, February 9, 2008, at the Circle M Ranch in Pelzer, SC.

 

The Expo will feature seminars on equine general health, equine nutrition, NAIS program, and hoof care by noted experts in the equine industry. A Parade of Breeds will highlight many different equine breeds from miniature mules and horses to pleasure and draft horses. Exhibitions & demonstrations will be given by drill teams, mounted shooters, and specialty horses. Numerous vendors from horse trailers to clothing and tack will be on-site with everything to meet your equine needs.

 

If you own horses or just like horses, you will enjoy the day. This event has something for all ages. The public is invited to attend. Cost of admission is $5 per person. Admission for SCHC members is free.

Doors open at 9:30 a.m. and activities are expected to continue until 6:00 p.m. The event will be held in the beautiful, climate-controlled indoor arena at Circle M Ranch located at 186 Woodville Road, Pelzer, SC. The South Carolina Horsemen’s Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to representing the interests of all horse and equine owners in South Carolina. The Council is composed of equine people with a variety of interests that includes showing, trail riding, breeding, racing, driving and  all of the agribusinesses  associated with the equine industry.
